The mod has currently reached a new milestone in development, and the team has released a texture pack that encompases the entire village level in Resident Evil 4. Going so far as actually visiting real world locations in which textures and assets from Resident Evil 4 were based on and recreating new, high resolution textures, the RE4 HD Project is being made by incredibly passionate Resident Evil fans with some serious skills.
I’ve been watching the Resident Evil 4 HD Project for some time now, shifting through their progress reports and comparison images from time to time, often incredibly impressed by the work these guys are doing.
